Training programs

This section presents seminar topics that can be included in the training program on systemic constellations, and can also be conducted as a separate client seminar to work on personal topics.

You can gather a group and organize a space in your city, and I can fly in as one of the guest teachers with my topic. But there is also the option of holding seminars in Greece, with accommodation and travel.

1. Basic provisions and principles of system constellation

  • Basic concepts and parameters of the family system according to B. Hellinger (belonging, hierarchy, balance, frailty of the system).Violations of laws in the system and their testing. Stages of the family life cycle (monad, dyad, triad), their identification and features of violations in the constellation.
  • Types of interventions in the constellation. Construction of solution phrases. “Plan-scheme” (technology) of constellation. The concept of “system hypothesis”. Types of hypotheses: personal, family and transgenerational levels of the family system. The concepts of intertwining and substitution. Constructing hypotheses and methods for testing them.
  • Various forms of interventions (free movement, phrases-solutions, input-output of new figures, movement of figures, prescriptions and rituals). Selecting and practicing basic intervention skills. The principle of stylistic unity of constellation. Phenomenology and geometry of constellation.

2. The concept of intertwining and substitution

  • Transgenerational relationship, M. Bowen’s approach. The influence of family stories on subsequent generations. The concept of intertwining and substitution. Features of working with the “interrupted reaching-out movement”, stages, laws and technology. Working with the Genogram. M. Bowen’s theory is the result of an attempt to apply a scientific approach to the study of human behavior, focused on the connection between man and all living things. The concept of system, triangle, transgenerational transfer.

3. Constellation of symptoms (diseases)

  • Disease or symptom from the point of view of constellations. Symptom as a metaphor for family. What role does the symptom play in the birth system? The concept of “psychosomatic seven”. An exercise to select metaphors for different symptoms. Types of constellations for somatic manifestations, psychosomatic disorders, mental illnesses. Stefan Hausner’s approach to working with somatic illnesses (illness as the loss of a child’s affection, as an interweaving, as a redemption, as a reflection of a mystery, etc.). Attachment theory by J. Bowlby. The Ainsworth experiment and types of attachment (secure, symbiotic, avoidant, ambivalent). Possibilities and limitations of working with dependent and codependent clients using the constellation method. Selected trends in constellation work. Combination of genogram with constellations.
  • Constellations with trauma of split. The process of occurrence and transmission of trauma through the birth system. Types of trauma: existential, loss trauma, relational trauma and systemic relationship trauma. The concept of traumatic splitting (parts: healthy, surviving and traumatized). The theory of Franz Ruppert and types of constellation according to Ruppert (constellation of parts, constellation of request).

4. Constellation in individual format

  • Technologies for arranging on the table and using objects. Types of constellation in individual format. Basic principles of individual work: 1) change of perspective; 2) meta level; 3) procedural work; 4) panoramic work. Advantages and limitations of using figures in the work of an constellator. Constellation on the table, their features and technologies.
  • Principles of working with floor anchors. Using “floor anchors” in work. Participation in the placement of the client and therapist as representatives in the format of individual work. Possibilities of using meta-position and changing perspective for the client. Eva Madelung’s approach is neuro-imaginative modeling, the possibility of using the archaic and biographical level, and the creation of a “knowing field” through drawing.
  • Constellation in the imagination. Constellation “in internal space”. Working with trance, features of immersion in trance through relaxation. Constellation in the imagination through meditation techniques. Ursula Franke’s approach.

5. Structural constellation: features, concepts, technologies

  • Shamanic constellations on the wheel of the four elements (Daan Van Campenhout). Ritual in shamanic constellations. Working with birds of the genus using a resource from their ancestors.
